~ Atlanta, Georgia - U.S. Social Forum - June 27-July 1 ~

Tired of pleading for crumbs from the master's table? Done with using the master's tools and playing according to the master's rules? Then the U.S. Social Forum democracy events are for you!

Come together with us to learn, strategize, and gain energy to build a democracy movement for the U.S.A.. Democracy in education. Democracy in elections. Democracy at work. Democracy in our communities. Democracy at home. Democracy in law. Democracy in every aspect of our daily lives.

Reflections on the US Social Forum 2007 Atlanta, GA

Participating in the first ever US Social Forum was a great privilege. I presented workshops and spent much of my time staffing an information table for my local organization, Democracy Unlimited of Humboldt County. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to go to too many of the 900+ workshops put on by over 15,000 participants.
